Yesterday I was invited to the pre launch of the Dublin Fashion Festival which will run from the 6th to the 9th of September. My day started at 06.10am with happy iPhone crickets waking me up. It was tough going but after 2 snoozes and a fully awake conscious cheering me to get up, I finally made it. It was an exciting day from start to finish. I was looking forward to being part of the event that represents Dublin’s fashion as well as seeing my fellow fashion-girl Sarah. The event took place in the fab Westin Hotel that makes you feel welcome the instant your cross the door step. Dublin’s City main shopping centres presented outfits from various brands. They were a mixture of evening and casual wear, from prints, prints and more prints to glam silk and glitter.  I now look forward to the September Festival and hopefully seeing some creations of Irish Designers.

Wczoraj mialam przyjamnosc wziecia udzialu w evencie uprzedzajacym Wrzesniowy Fashion Festival w Dublinie. Dzien rozpoczal sie o 6.10 rano z radosnie upierdliwymi iPhonowymi chrzaszczami zmagajacymi sie z nie lada wyzwaniem, a mianowicie przebudzenia mnie z niedzwiedziego snu. Bylo ciezko, jednak po dwoch drzemkach i sumieniu ktore konsekwentnie mnie dopingowalo, postawilam pierwsze kroki. Podekscytowanie siegalo zenitu, gdyz event reprezentowal mode Dublina, a ja moglam byc tego czescia. Dodatkowo moja kolezanka Sarah postanowila dotrzymac mi kroku, co bylo super dodatkiem. Event odbyl sie w przepieknym hotelu Westin mieszczacym sie w sercu stolicy, ktory emanowal goscinnoscia.
